MySpace no more

MySpace, I knew ye well, and boy, you were a dump. As of 5:42 pm today, I no longer have a MySpace account. I canceled it, at long last. I’ve been thinking about doing this for some time, actually from the first day I signed up.

I have yet to see an uglier site than MySpace. It’s got flashing ads all over the place, it’s hard to use, people can make it even uglier without trying very hard, and I never really saw any benefit to it. I don’t know what all the teens see in it.

I can’t begin to tell you how good it felt to click on that Cancel Account button.
