Ligia made a delicious pate in this episode of Ligia’s Kitchen, which you can spread on raw bread or you can devour as a veggie dip (which is what we did at the end).

It’s quick and easy to make (just blend the ingredients together) and super-delicious, so we hope you’ll try it at home!
This the 22nd episode of Ligia’s Kitchen, and let me just say this first: yum!
This Christmas, make super-tasty raw chocolate brownies with juicy, honey-dipped orange peels, glazed with thick, creamy chocolate syrup! It’s a decadent holiday dessert that’s perfect for Christmas or New Year’s!
The video is exactly 3 minutes long because we were challenged to edit a full recipe (that would normally take 7-10 minutes) to that length by Chow.com. It was a challenge issued to the YouTube Next Chef winners. We met the challenge dead on and walked away unscathed, albeit a bit dazed! While the video fits within the 3-minute space, it would do much better as a 4-5 minute video.
Ligia came up with an amazing Christmas recipe, another of her culinary masterpieces: raw eggnog and gingerbread cookies. This is the perfect two-for-one Christmas recipe, because it uses the same ingredients and the same process to give you two wonderful holiday desserts, saving you precious time during this busy time of the year.
This episode is highly recommended for those interested in healthy alternatives to traditional eggnog, which is loaded with unhealthy calories and fats.
This time around, I’m in front of the cameras and the episode is a bit more interactive than usual as a result. I’m interested to see what you think of it once you’ve watched it.
Enjoy and bon appetit!

It’s fall, and it’s time for season two of Ligia’s Kitchen! We returned to action with episode 19, which presents a way to make delicious guacamole in about three minutes. Guacamole is a naturally raw recipe, and when eaten with raw vegan bread, it makes for a wonderful raw meal.

This episode was recorded in English, not Romanian, as has been the case so far. We did this for the sake of our international viewers. We also found that a lot of the Romanians who watched our show also knew or could understand English, so when thinking about how to reach a larger audience, English was the perfect fit. Romanian is now available as a subtitle track in the video (just click on the CC button to enable it).
It’s the seventh episode of Ligia’s Kitchen, presenting a raw zacusca recipe.
Zacusca is a traditional spread in Romania, made from eggplant, red bell peppers and onions. Wikipedia has a nice entry explaining it in detail. It’s quite tasty.
The traditional recipe involves a lot of cooking and some frying, which not only takes time, but also makes the spread fairly greasy and not so healthy. Ligia’s come up with a way to make it raw, delicious, and very healthy. Bon appetit!
We published the fifth episode of my wife’s cooking show, Ligia’s Kitchen, yesterday evening. This week’s recipe is simple and delicious — Ligia will teach you how to make “Raffaello”-like sweets from two ingredients: dates and coconut flakes.
As usual, English subtitles are available, so make sure to click on YouTube’s CC button if you can’t see them.
