You can license or use any of the photos you find here on my site or in my photo catalog. Here’s what you need to do.

Use my photos for free

I will allow you to use any of my photos at a size of up to 800 pixels on the longest side, on a personal/non-commercial site (like a personal blog), for free, without having to ask for my permission, as long as you do ALL of the following three things:

1. Keep my watermark on the photo
2. Give me credit by name (Raoul Pop) and
3. Link my name back to my site (raoulpop.com) or my photo catalog (raoulpopphotography.com)

If you are a Flickr user, the “Blog This” button is enabled on my photo stream, and you can use that to post any of my photos directly to your blog, but you’ll still need to add a caption underneath the photo that meets points 2 and 3 above.

License my photos as stock

If you’d like to use my photos without restrictions and at any size you like, on the web or in print or other published works, you can license my photos as royalty-free stock, and download them instantly, directly from my photo catalog.

This is especially true f you are a commercial entity or site, and you derive some kind of income or revenue from the content/photos that you deliver or produce. In that case please license my photos, as you do not qualify to use them for free.

My photo catalog, hosted with SmugMug, will allow you to purchase instant downloads of my photographs for personal or business use, at selected sizes or the full original resolution of the photograph.

Buy my photos as prints

Go to my photo catalog, select a photo, and go through the order process, which will allow you to crop it and select the print material and size, all the way up to large sizes and canvas prints. It’s easy, and it puts you in control of the finished product.

Copyright and Rights Management

I copyright my images with the US Copyright Office. Please don’t steal my photos. If your theft gets uncovered, I’ll have to unleash certain legal unpleasantries. Do the right thing.
