I get ideas all the time, about all sorts of things. Most often, I forget to write them down and then I forget them altogether. A few years ago, I decided to start posting selected ideas on my website. I believe that an idea’s true true power can only be harnessed when people use it to build upon existing knowledge in order to reach greater heights of achievement and ingenuity. I believe that people working together for the good of mankind can really accomplish great things, provided their motivation is at least in part altruistic. I hope my ideas play a role in making our overall quality of life a little better. You’ll find them here.
So, here’s my great experiment in ethics. I’m curious to see if it’ll work. If you’re interested in using my ideas, feel free to do so. I only ask that you give me credit, and if you intend to use them commercially, contact me first about licensing them. After all, if you’re going to make profit from them, you should share a part of that with the man that helped you do it, right? (For example, here’s one of my wishlists.)
