This is great! The original “Powers of Ten” video, done by Charles and Ray Eames, has been placed online! If there’s some point this should drive home, it’s this: we are some pretty insignificant specks of dust in a very, very large universe. We ought to be a little more humble and respectful of our surroundings.

Scientists debunk astrology
Discovery News has a great article detailing a large study done to see if there’s any connection between astrological signs and personality traits. The result: no such thing. I had a hunch this was true for some time now, and I’m glad to see scientific proof of it. Here’s the article.
