This photo was taken at the house of Ion Creanga, near Iasi, Romania. He was a famous and dear writer of folklore and fairy tales, among other things (see Wikipedia for more details). This was his country cottage. It’s called “Bojdeuca lu’ Creanga” in Romanian. I took it last summer during a whirlwind tour of Iasi and its surroundings.

This reminds me of how I once walked my dog and he desperately wanted to do his stuff under a window of our appartment flat. Well , I hoped he’d just get it done and we’d be over with, but a neighbour parked nearby and came out of his car with his entire family ,starting to complain. I didn’t have a plastic bag anyway, so I just kepot quiet and went away, knowing full well that I wouldn’t do it again. Oh, but what if I see him again – we live in the same flat after all – oh, the shame…
