Ligia made a delicious pate in this episode of Ligia’s Kitchen, which you can spread on raw bread or you can devour as a veggie dip (which is what we did at the end).

It’s quick and easy to make (just blend the ingredients together) and super-delicious, so we hope you’ll try it at home!

Presenting episode 25 of our show: a wonderful little recipe for raw sour cherry cookies — one of Ligia’s original recipes, naturally!

The recipe is as follows:

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp psyllium
  • 2 cups sour cherries
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp coconut butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp lemon peels
  • 6 cups almond flour

Watch the video to see how the ingredients are combined and I hope you’ll try this recipe at home!

In this new year, we thought we’d do something a bit different for Ligia’s Kitchen, and we started to create how-to videos that are kitchen and cooking-related. They’re shorter in length than our regular episodes, they’re right to the point and they show you, clearly, how to do certain things.

Our first installment is this, a video which demonstrates that opening a pomegranate without staining your hands or your clothes is possible and easy.

Enjoy!

Here’s the latest episode from Ligia’s Kitchen: a fun mocktail we call “The Elixir of Youth“. We had a ton of fun making this video, as you’ll be able to see when you watch it and see the outtakes. The reason the presentation’s different is because YouTube and My Drunk Kitchen asked us to make a video that presents a “post-apocalyptic” cocktail/mocktail. We did our own twist on it and we hope you’ll enjoy it!

The recipe is presented at the end of the video, or you can find it in the video description on YouTube.

This the 22nd episode of Ligia’s Kitchen, and let me just say this first: yum! 🙂

This Christmas, make super-tasty raw chocolate brownies with juicy, honey-dipped orange peels, glazed with thick, creamy chocolate syrup! It’s a decadent holiday dessert that’s perfect for Christmas or New Year’s!

The video is exactly 3 minutes long because we were challenged to edit a full recipe (that would normally take 7-10 minutes) to that length by Chow.com. It was a challenge issued to the YouTube Next Chef winners. We met the challenge dead on and walked away unscathed, albeit a bit dazed! 🙂 While the video fits within the 3-minute space, it would do much better as a 4-5 minute video.

Here’s the recipe!

Chocolate Glaze:

  • 2 cups raw cocoa powder
  • 2 cups water
  • 3 tbsp cocoa butter
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp mesquite

Brownie Mixture:

  • 4 cups flour from sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup orange peels, diced and dipped in honey

Decoration:

  • coconut flakes
  • almond slivers
  • golden raisins
  • anise stars
  • chocolate glaze
  • pomegranate

Enjoy and thanks for watching!
